Cockburn

During July 2014 I worked with pupils of Cockburn School in Leeeds

One of the projects was to re-create Sargent's iconic Gassed. First we re-staged the line of gassed soldiers, then merged this into the original painting. And finally created our version on 24 40cm square canvasses, to make a big picture. The pupils painted the new elements, and I filled in the background from the Sargent original.
